Summary: 120hz requires higher bandwidth HDMI
Review: Im not an expert, but I have checked thoroughly enough to discern that yes "Digital is digital" for the most part, with the exception of 120hz. DVD and HD Cable boxes will work great with cheap HDMI cable, but if you want to utilize the 120hz feature (pretty much exlusive to blu-ray) then you need a minimum speed of 10gbps from your HDMI. This cable meets that requirement. 1.3v specifications do NOT require 120hz capability so cheaper 1.3v HDMI will NOT carry this.
On a seperate note, keep in mind that all HDMI lose their effectiveness over longer cable. My blu-ray player is about 20ft (in cable distance) from my tv and I have found that cheaper cable craps out at longer distances, but that Monster Cable still works effectively. Monster is "high-end" and like all things "high-end" its overpriced, but you get what you pay for. If you want the best, then get Monster. If you cant see the differnce or dont care about the difference between 120hz and 60hz, then buy cheap cables. I recommend Cables Unlimited, they are cheap and effective.
I give 4 out of 5 stars because its STILL overpriced, but it works for everything, wherther or not you NEED everything out of your high def is up to you.

Summary: Send $10 to me for info on how not to get ripped off
Review: I'll keep this real short. Waste of money. I have two $2.00 HDMI cables and a 47" 1080P LCD. It cannot possibly get any better with ANY cable. It is impossible. Read the other 1 Star reviews for the scientific reasons if you want and save yourself $90.

Summary: Worth for the money
Review: A Cheaper cable may be good enough if you have 720P or 60Hz TVs. But if you have 1080P and 120Hz TV, then dont compromise the quality with a less expensive cable. I agree this monster cable is surely expensive one, but if you want to get the exceptional picture quality then dont give second thought of going for a less expensive cable. Initially I tried with a less expensive cable before switching to this monster cable. I am really satisfied with the result and would strongly recommend to others.

Review: Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable (4 meters)
We bought a new 52" Samsung HD Flat Screen TV for our remodeled den. I did not think the cables were that important and bought a cheap HDMI cable for our new TV. I was so unhappy with the picture. We have a 46" Samsung that has an outstanding picture with lots of HD details, but I had used a Monster HDMI cable with it. After I ordered the Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable, I could see a remarkable difference in the picture on our new TV. They cost more, but they are worth it!

Review: If you own a digital TV the Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed Cable is a must.
Its pricey, but If you want crisp clear pictures on your investment in a hi-def color TV that's the way to go.
The instructional DVD that comes with it is a masterpiece. It answers most of the frequently asked questions about hooking up your TV and other components for the best enjoyment.
The seller was true to his word and delivered as promised. I highly recommend them.
